About the Festival Un Goût des Caraïbes

The Taste of the Caribbean (TOTC) festival is Canada's largest free Caribbean music, art, food, and rum festival. It takes place every second weekend of July in Montreal's Old Port. The open-air festival attracts 150,000 attendees annually and offers a diverse range of live music, food, drinks, and art, representing some of the many island nations of the Caribbean! :) Celebrate Caribbean culture in Montreal! For over 25 years, the Taste of the Caribbean music and culture festival has brought the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean to Montreal. From live musical performances featuring reggae, soca, zouk, and Latin music to special rum masterclasses and mouthwatering food, this Caribbean festival is an unforgettable experience for all ages. What to expect at the festival: - Live Caribbean music: Dance to the rhythms of reggae, salsa, soca, zouk, kompa, reggaeton, dancehall, calypso, and more. - Delicious Caribbean cuisine: Sample authentic dishes from the West Indies. - Family fun: Enjoy kid-friendly areas, workshops, and more. - Cultural performances: Discover vibrant Caribbean traditions, including dance and percussion performances. Whether you come for the dance workshops, the music, the food, or to explore cultural heritage, there's something for everyone at the A Taste of the Caribbean Festival. #ilovetotc
