To the sound of the djembes, you find yourself transported by the breeze of the St. Lawrence River and by this mix of rhythms. Soon, your hips loosen and your arms rise towards the sky, honouring African traditions. Under the blazing sun, you enjoy all that Montreal’s multiculturalism has to offer. That’s what the AFROMONDE Festival is all about.
