1001 patentes qui bougent, founded in Val-David in 2021, is a puppet theatre and masked play festival on a human scale that stands out for the quality of its programming and the warmth of its welcome. Every summer, it offers an indoor and outdoor program with shows for adults and shows for all from all over Quebec and elsewhere; puppet walks and installations; experimentation and exchange laboratories with the public for artists in residence and emerging artists; exhibitions, screenings and introductory workshops for the public.
