About the Festival Vue sur la Relève

In May 2024, the 28th edition of the Festival Vue sur la Relève will present more than 20 emerging artists from various backgrounds. Whether in dance, theatre, song, music, circus arts or in interdisciplinary performances, these artists will see their talent unfold in front of an audience, but also in front of professionals from the cultural industry. Anchored in Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension, the festival presents more than half of its activities free of charge outdoors and at Maison de la culture Claude-Léveillée. Vue sur la Relève also organizes its Rencontres professionnelles open to the general public, allowing artists to participate in round table discussions and conferences addressing issues specific to career development and professional integration. The Festival culminates with the awarding of some fifty "Coups de Pouce" to the artists in the program, a structuring support to ensure the presentation of their work, the preparation of a new project, or other forms of support that will help them expand their reach.
